Phuong Truc Phan is the Advanced and Intermediate High ESL Instructor at Lincoln Education Center. She brings to the Lincoln School community a wealth of experience as an administrator and teacher as well as her energy and passion for educating second language learners. Formerly, a lower elementary school principal at the Challenger School and Director at YK Pao International School, Ms. Phan was responsible for managing the quality of the English programs focusing on academic achievement and social development of the students and the after school enrichment programs. Her roles also included managing, training and developing a faculty of twenty-five teachers, managing the school facilities, and developing and fostering relationships with the parent community. Prior to her Principal role, she was one of the outstanding teachers at the Challenger School having taught Kindergarten, Second Grade, and Third Grade during which time Challenger recognized her outstanding teaching abilities and leadership skills. She has also taught at Tustin Elementary School in the Tustin School District and Meadowbrook Elementary in the Irvine Unified School District. She received her Master Degree in Curriculum Designs, a Bachelors of Arts with emphasis in Education from the University of California, Irvine and has obtained her California Teaching Credential and Director's Permit. Her research interests include curriculum development and evaluation of curriculum programs and teacher-effectiveness.
