WE’RE NOW OFFERING AED TRAINING!!
(Automated External Defibrillator)
American Heart Association
HEARTSAVER CPR/AED/First Aid
Each year Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) claims about 335,000 lives in the U.S. Prior to hospital arrival! Current survival from SCA is less than 5 percent.
Defibrillation stops the most common cause of SCA an abnormal heart rhythm called ventricular fibrillation- by using an electrical shock to return the heart to a normal rhythm. Applied in a timely manner, and with good CPR, a victim’s survival
increases greatly!
AED’s are safe. They analyze a heart rhythm and prompt the user to deliver a shock when necessary. These devices only require the user to attach pads to the victim’s chest, turn the device on, and follow audio/visual instructions. They do not require the user to make decisions, or interpret symptoms.
Above CPR/AED training in 5 hours – 8am-1pm.
Add Standard First Aid training: 3.5 additional hours, 1:30-5pm.
Class Fee: $40 CPR/AED and $25 First Aid
